Graduate Assistantship

We work hard to meet the needs of our clients, as well as working to provide excellent training for graduate students in Counseling and Clinical Psychology. Training is a highly valued part of our work here at the center, and we work to provide a supportive environment with supervisors who value training and your growth. We value our trainees and consider them an integral part of our staff and culture.

Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology

The aim of the MU Counseling Center internship in health service psychology is to train generalist psychologists for practice with an adult population emphasizing intervention within a university setting.

Post-Masters Clinical Fellowship

The position requires completion of a Masters degree from a mental health counseling program (e.g., Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education, Community Counseling, etc.) or counseling psychology program by the start date.

Doctoral Internship Application

To be considered for a doctoral internship for the academic year of 2025-2026, all applications materials must be uploaded to the AAPI Online by Nov. 15.
