Not feeling well?
PREPARE TO CALL FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
You will need to call to schedule your appointment with the Student Health Center. We’ve prepared helpful tips for how to prepare for the phone conversation, including what you’ll be asked by our phone staff.
- Step 1: You’ll be asked what you’re needing to be seen for and if you’ve been seen at the Student Health Center before.
- Step 2: You’ll be asked to provide or confirm the following information:
- Legal name
- Preferred name
- Billing address (often a parent or family address is provided)
- Local address (such as a residence hall or apartment complex)
- Demographic information (gender, race, ethnicity, etc.)
- Guarantor information (this will be the person who accepts financial responsibility to pay the patient’s bill. This could be a parent, guardian or family member).
- Step 3: You will be asked about your insurance, but you will not need your insurance card until your appointment (the insurance card can be a physical or digital copy).
- Step 4: You will discuss availability with our phone staff and set up a date and time for the appointment that works with your schedule.
- Step 5: Our phone staff will walk you through what to prepare for your appointment and you can ask questions you have.

Parking Information
While our new facility is easily walkable for students on campus, 6 accessible parking spots are available on the east side of the building. You may be ticketed when parking but please present parking violation to the front desk of the Student Health Center for the office to dispute the charge.
