Graduate Assistantship

Note from Graduate Assistant (GA) Coordinator

Dear GA Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in a graduate assistantship at the University of Missouri Counseling Center! We welcome applications from post-master’s graduate students who are pursuing their doctorates in clinical or counseling psychology and pre-master’s students in counseling psychology who will be completing their third year of the program (internship year).

The application deadline for the 2024-2025 school year will be Feb. 7, 2025, by 5 p.m.

The MU Counseling Center works hard to meet the needs of our clients as well as working to provide excellent training for graduate students. Training is a highly valued part of our work here at the Center, and we work to provide a supportive environment with supervisors who value training and your growth. You will see that we highly value our trainees and consider them an integral part of our staff and the culture of the Counseling Center! Please contact me with any additional questions.

Sincerely,
Christopher R. Smith, PhD
