Resources by Student Group

If you are a part of one of the following student groups, we’re here to help you thrive.

International Students

When you enroll at Mizzou, make an appointment with the Student Health Center to discuss tuberculosis (TB) screening. We will ask you relevant questions and determine the right TB screen. You must fulfill all screening requirements. If you do not, a hold will be placed on your account. This will keep you registering for courses and obtaining your transcript.

Tips for International Students

  • Write down any concerns and bring them with you to your appointment.
  • Share your medical history with Student Health Center staff as well as all treatment you are currently receiving and any allergies you may have.
  • Translation services are available in the Student Health Center if you are not confident about your English. Alternatively, you can bring a translator with you. If at any point your provider’s instructions are not clear, ask them to explain, repeat or ask them to write them down.
