About
Eligibility
If you are currently enrolled at Mizzou, you can use Student Health and Well-Being services regardless of coverage. This includes the Counseling Center and Student Health Center.
Counseling Center Eligibility
All currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to seek assistance at the Counseling Center. Your student activity fee covers a portion of the costs and use of urgent/crisis services (available both during the day and after hours) and assistance with referrals if we are not best suited for your needs.
Student Health Center Eligibility
All currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to seek care at the Student Health Center. The student health fee is required for enrolled students taking seven or more credit hours to receive covered service.
- If you have graduated, you are eligible to use the Student Health Center on a fee-for-service basis for one semester following graduation. During this period, you should arrange to have your medical records transferred to your new physician.
- If you are the spouse of an eligible student but not a student yourself, you are eligible to use the Student Health Center on a fee-for-service basis with proof of spouse’s student ID. Children and other family members are not eligible.
AAAHC Accreditation
The Student Health Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) which ensures the healthcare we provide is high quality and meets national standards. The accreditation process includes ongoing self assessments, on-site reviews from experts and an ongoing commitment to improving the care and services the Student Health Center provides.
