Creating an environment that fosters well-being is part of the core mission of Student Health and Well-being. We strive to empower students to live their best lives through education and prevention efforts. We are happy to work with campus partners including student leaders and organizations to create and deliver programs designed to enhance well-being, increase mental health literacy, and reduce stigma. The Counseling Center is also available to provide emotional support at events that are expected to be emotionally difficult. We are also available to assist and support students during times of loss. To request emotional support for planned events please complete the request form. For support of an immediate situation please contact the Counseling Center at 573-882-6601 to speak to an on-call counselor.
If you have questions about what we offer or how we might be able to work with you to support your programs, please contact the Wellness Resource Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Health and Well-Being Peer Educators are trained by professionals to provide student-centered, inclusive outreach, education and advocacy for mental health and mindfulness, sexual health and physical health (including alcohol, tobacco and other drugs). To help their peers make informed decisions on these issues, they host engaging events on campus and offer interactive presentations in residence halls, fraternity and sorority houses, and classrooms. Request a peer education program.
